Halton Region 2011 Property Tax Estimator

Halton Region is providing this service to assist property owners in the residential, farm, managed forest, pipeline and residential farmland pending development property classes to estimate their 2011 property taxes.  Taxes have been calculated based on the assessment roll for 2011 taxation provided by MPAC in December 2010.  Actual taxes payable in 2011 may vary if, for example, the property valuation is successfully appealed or there is a supplementary billing because additional assessment is added during the year (i.e. a building is added to vacant land).  These estimates reflect the impacts of:

• the 2011 Current Value Assessment provided by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC)
• approved local and regional budgets and
• the property tax portion of education taxes as set by the Province of Ontario.
