Starting Monday, May 27, 2013, Halton Region will begin final paving of the newly-widened intersection of Trafalgar Road (Regional Road 3) and Steeles Avenue (Regional Road 8) in the Town of Halton Hills. All work is expected to be finished by Tuesday June 4.
Lane restrictions will be required to accommodate the paving work. Traffic flow will be reduced to a single lane in all directions between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.
In addition, the intersection will be closed to all traffic overnight on Friday May 31 from 9 p.m. until 9 a.m. on Saturday June 1.
Halton Police officers will be redirecting traffic when lanes are restricted or closed. Motorists are advised to expect some delays and to use caution when travelling through the area.
